Photo Resizer online

Resize photos to send by e-mail

Phone photos are often several megabytes and e-mail rejects them or sends them slowly. Here you resize them to 1600 px, which still looks sharp on screen.

Click “Process photos” and download the files one by one or all at once as a ZIP.

    Frequently asked questions

How many photos fit in one e-mail?

Many e-mail services limit attachments to 20–25 MB. After resizing to 1600 px a photo usually has a few hundred KB, so dozens of them fit.

Can I send the photos as one file?

Yes, the “Download all (ZIP)” button creates a single file you can attach to the e-mail.

Are my photos uploaded to a server?

No. Your browser processes the photos right on your computer or phone. Not a single image is sent to our server, so you can safely use the tool for private photos too.

    Is the tool free?

Yes. No sign-up, no watermark and no limit on the number of photos. The only limit is the performance of your device.

Is EXIF data or GPS location kept in the photo?

No. The processed photo contains no metadata (EXIF, GPS location or camera details). The photo is still rotated correctly according to its original orientation.

Edit photos often? Photo Resizer for Windows is free

The program remembers your settings as recipes, watches a folder and processes new photos automatically. It adds watermarks and borders, renames files in bulk and saves the result to disk, uploads it to an FTP server or sends it by e-mail.
